A fabulous short story. I absolutely loved the relationship between Jared and the dog and how the dog helps Jared feel less lonely. The dog is a fantastic character and I was almost sad when...the thing...happened :-) I loved how Jared handled himself, it felt believable to me. And the other MC Wesley was a fabulous character and I absolutely adored his fierce loyalty. I loved this book and I want to read more of Jared and Wesley. And Ruby Moone is quickly taking her place among my favorite authors. I'm definitely keeping my eye on her <3
