GENRE: Gay Interracial Spicy Romance LENGTH: 81,317 words RATING: Rafi Reyes figures going along with a fake-dating stunt is only fair after Julian Gault saves his life. The young actor is famously cold and snotty, and Rafi's rock band is falling apart in the wake of betrayal. A shiny new romance might be just what both their reputations need. It's too bad they don't actually like each other, but they'll both benefit -- a softer public image for Julian, revenge against his ex for Rafi. But as they navigate public events, attend red-carpet premieres, and play cat-and-mouse with paparazzi together, Rafi gets to know a different Julian than he expected -- one who defends horses, takes care of his troubled cousin, and has Rafi's back against his dysfunctional family. Rafi starts to hope he and Julian have something real together. But Julian has secrets more painful than Rafi can imagine. With Julian's powerful and controlling uncle scheming to turn them against each other, their relationship must become something much deeper if it -- and possibly either of them -- are to survive.EXCERPT:Note: may contain sexually explicit scenes of a homoerotic nature.
Everything I have to say about this book could be summed up in four words: I absolutely loved it. But I’ll say more, of course, because I absolutely loved it and I have to gush over it. This book has everything I love and more. Fake dating! Banter! Characters who are polar opposites but end up falling in love precisely because of those differences! CHARACTERS Julian and Rafi are incredible characters. They’re so distinct from each other, and the way the author reveals their personalities through subtle details and lines of dialogue is nothing short of amazing. Within the first few chapters, you get such a strong sense of who these char

Newly turned 21, former child star Julian Gault is ready to graduate to adult roles and get out from under the thumb of his manager/uncle - but finds himself fighting against his uncle's power and influence as well as his own reputation for being cold, unpleasant, and difficult to work with. A fake-dating scheme holds benefits for both of them - Rafi gets to tell the world (and his bandmates) that he traded up to one of the most beautiful movie stars on the planet days after being dumped, and Julian gets an adult relationship to mature him in the public eye and softens his image by association with Rafi's reputation for being one of the more decent and likable men in Hollywood. But as th
