Not a bad second chances story. And a short to remind people, communication is really key. Billy is still torn up over Mitch. That one night six years ago, will never leave his mind. And going to the celebratory party for Mitch winning the lotto is that last place he wants to be. But he promised his brother. Seeing Mitch all over again, brings it all back, and he can’t resist when Mitch wants to bring him home again. But Billy doesn’t know if it’s a good idea. Mitch convinces him, and Billy almost runs out after again, but Mitch catches him. And both find out miscommunication causes missed opportunities. This is one of those stories I wish there was more to. Like it was a full length novel. It’s a good short, don’t get me wrong, but I wish there was more to it. Mitch and Billy seem like such good guys who let circumstances get the better of them. Instead of talking, they missed out on 6 years and so much could have happened. But it’s good to see there was a happy ending. Or an HF
