We were startled by the sound of footsteps nearing us. We froze, and my heart pumped with fear. Before I had the chance to pull my shorts back up, a tall man dressed like a typical cowboy stood near us within a small distance, as if having magically teleported there. He looked young but older than us, probably mid-twenties at least, and he was in top shape.

"What are you boys doing out here alone?" The man's tone was stern and intimidating, and there was no telling what he could do about the situation.

We were in deep shit, especially because no one else knew about us. Plus, public sex was probably illegal. I pulled my shorts back up, already caught, and Robbie got up and stood next to me. We couldn't make eye contact with the man.

He came closer to us with a stiff, butch movement, his eyes glued to us. What if he hated gay people? What if he ratted us out? What if he beat us up? There was no telling what was on his mind.

"Sir, we were just ... hanging out," Robbie said in a weak tone, his eyes lowered to the ground as if in shame.

"That's not what it looked like to me. Are you guys actually gay?" The man seemed to have been focusing a bit more on Robbie than on me, but I figured he felt the same way about both of us.

I tried hard to look at the man with a set of pleading eyes. "S-sir, we're sorry. W-we won't do it again. P-please don't tell anyone."

The man stepped even closer until he was right in front of us, his face exuding the kind of hatred and repulsion that practically screamed it was over for us. He grabbed both our chins to force us to look him in the eye, still with a bit more focus on Robbie. "I asked you a question. Are you fucking gay?"

I swallowed, and I could probably pass out from the anxiety of what would happen to me and Robbie.

"Yes, sir," Robbie said. "But please don't tell anyone. We won't do it again, we swear."

My eyes glared at Robbie's desperation, but there was no way he could lie for us when the man had just seen him about to give me a blowjob. How could we begin to explain that?

The man took a hard look at our faces for what felt like an eternity. Then, he looked over his shoulders and back at us. "I could get you into some serious trouble by telling the cops what I saw."
