I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It is a fast-moving novella, but the author didn’t cut any corners. It is a complete story with well-developed characters and a good story-line. Fun, sexy, and sweet.
I loved Marc and Aiden. They are each other opposites, but they have that immediate attraction. And wow, the sparks were flying when they first met. But Marc has been hurt before, and he is not overflowing with self-confidence. He is on the small side, loves eyeliner, and for others, that was the reason for not taking him serious. Not Aiden, though. He is the real deal. He wants Marc, and he won’t give up. Not in a stalkerish way, but with love and belief in their connection. He coaxes Aiden out of his shell to fully embrace all aspects of him. Even the Daddy kink they both didn’t know they favored, but with the right man, everything is possible. The chemistry is undeniable with many steamy scenes as a result. But sex is not all there is between the two men. They connect on an emotional level as well. The author found a perfect balance between the two.
This is the sequel to A Love to Remember but can be read as a stand-alone. As there are recurring characters, you might enjoy this story more if you have read the first book, though.
