I loved this short story!

Jamie is flamboyant with blue hair and eyeliner, his boyfriend, Ryan, is closeted. Jamie is sure that Ryan is having second thoughts about their relationship and he’s convinced himself that it’s because of the way he dresses, his blue hair, and his eyeliner.

This is a really great short story. It difficult to convey a lot about the characters in a short story but Ruby Moone does a great job of giving us all that we need to know in very few words; that Jamie loves Ryan so much he’s willing to go to any lengths to keep him.

Communication is the key to any relationship and secrets aren’t good, even when it’s with the best of intentions. Jamie and Ryan’s failure to communicate with each other is the cause of Jamie’s uncertainty about their relationship.

Have no fear there is an HEA. This was a very satisfying story that managed to make me shed a few tears (that means it’s good – lol).
