A very sweet novella. I like all kinds of romance stories and I'll read nearly anything – any heat level. Nell Iris is my favorite when it comes to writing MM short stories. Of Autumn Leaves and New Beginnings is longer, at 17,000 words it's really a novella, but just like her short stories, she tells a complete story in an efficient amount of words. It's a wonderful and sweet story. Both of the MCs in this story are in their 40's and I love reading books about older couples finding love; romance isn't just for the young! Their camaraderie allows Oren and Peter to strike up an easy, casual and supportive friendship that ultimately solidifies their bond. Pete’s ex-wife is an absolute hoot. I adore Cathy and her unwavering support for Pete and Oren’s relationship. Her lack of personal boundaries wi
