Black Bird

There is this Roman myth about a luminescent snow-white bird known for its beauty and song.

Protective feelings are what Nash feels when he sees and even first noticed the scent of the beautiful new barista, more goes through his mind like ‘mine’. He has to shadow him to keep him safe.
Arlo doesn’t understand the big bear of a man, fear is what he feels and Nash doesn’t want to leave his side.
Arlo can’t stay anywhere for long. He has to keep moving. Every time again and again he has to leave. He’s a creature with special gifts he doesn’t understand himself and doesn’t understand what he is exactly, he still has to leave.
Nash tries hard to earn Arlo’s trust, a creature who is hurt somewhere in his life. Nash yearns to claim his mate but that would shatter everything between them. But others want to have Arlo because he is valuable.

We are following a phychic, a vampire, a werewolf, and a caladrius bird. I was enchanted by Arlo and Nash their magical and sensual dance around each other. It was dripping of sexual tension. Beside all these mesmerizing acts there were also dangerous and exciting moments where my hand went to fists and I wanted to stomp someone hard.
This author always gives the most beautiful mythical creatures an extraordinary voice and always with an exceptional touch of magical fairy dust.
I enjoyed this story immensely. the environments were fabulous and the most delicate creatures are standing opposite of big dangerous ones. I adore stories where love always wins!
