Awakenings and French Songs
What an absolute sweet story. And romantic. It’s not always about the sex but the relationship and the intimacy. The bonds and friendship. I loved this story.
Age makes you realize a lot of things. It makes you see things differently, want things differently, approach things differently. You find yourself not wanting the same things you used to. I know for !e it was that way. And for Iggy in this story too. His birthday party wasn’t what it was cracked up to be. He spent his time hiding up at the bar or in the bathroom. Enough was enough and he went home. And he sees his neighbor, Ronan.
Ronan and he hang out form time to time. Ronan is incredibly hot to Iggy and he adores Ronan’s little girl. They hang out for tea at Ronan’s and Iggy tells of his disaster of a birthday. And realizes something else in the process. It’s time to settle down and the man in front of him is who he wants. Kid and all.
This was a getting to know you book. Just so beautiful and sweet. They focused on becoming more than a one night. On more than jumping in the sack. They focused on each other. And Ronan’s daughter. It made into a very nice book. Love it.
