Coming Out is Never Easy
Nickie is a head hunter for a busy company. She is VERY deeply in the closet and scared to come out. Her lover Katie has had enough and leaves her. Nickie runs away to her Grandmother's house to lick her wounds. While there she is talked into going to the local resort to hear a band. A man who knew her in childhood gets pushy with her trying to get into her pants. Nickie lets loose and accidentally outs herself. How is Nickie going to cope with what she has done, has she lost everything now? You will have to read the story to find out.

This is a light short story. It is part of a series (but I think all are stand alones) and the second I've read. I thoroughly enjoyed them both. There is a HOT scene that has nothing to do with the heat wave! I can understand Nickie's feelings and her internal dialogue, however having been in Katie's position I can really relate to her. This is a very good book and I will enjoy re-reading it.
