Falling into Love

Holy spaghetti, this was a good book. It was not sensational or overly dramatic but a good, solid read that left me with a warm, fuzzy feeling in my body and a smile on my face. I was pulled into the story right from the start, and I didn’t put the book down until I was finished. The writing is so pleasant. It flows so smoothly that you just keep on reading and reading. It was funny, sexy, romantic, and I loved the characters.
There is Liam, the always smiling and sunny wilderness guide. Not quite a good profession for him as he is sort of accident prone, but then, it is just who he is, and he takes it all in stride. Then he meets Austin, radiology technician. And yes, they have met in the ER, and no, they didn’t fall in love there.
You just have to read for yourself how their story unfolds. It is love at first, or maybe second sight, but that doesn’t mean it is all smooth sailing. Especially Austin has his doubts about his ability to have a lasting relationship.
The authors did a great job bringing Austin and Liam to life. They are down-to-earth men, who have that instant connection you can only dream of. And they are the perfect match. Happy, sunny Liam is exactly what the more serious and self-conscious Austin needs. Austin, in turn, keeps the sometimes stumbling Liam more firmly on the ground. They have some difficult trails to hike before they reach their destination. They don’t have to go over large boulders. It is more like stepping over a fallen tree, but it still makes the journey interesting.
Have I said it was sexy? Holy manicotti, the chemistry is sizzling from the pages. And they have so much fun. I love the banter. Not only between Liam and Austin but also between the four other friends of Liam. Together with their dogs, one of which the sweet and naughty, not-so-small Tinkerbell, this band of brothers make up a stellar secondary cast. Their group of five fast becomes a group of six as they include Austin in their circle without any questions asked. Well, maybe a little from Jackson, but after all, he is like a mother hen.
As there are five friends, with one fallen in love already, I hope we will get the stories of the other four men as well.
