Rose and Barney are my fave couple that Ellie Thomas has written. I just loved seeing the progression of their story and am so thankful that we were given this extra glimpse into their lives. I also loved getting to see Lucy in the cross over from the Unlikely Alliance trilogy. If Lucy is onto Rose's truth, she never once shows it and I love the friendship that Rose and her develop. This was more of a lighthearted story, in terms of the deep emotions that normally appear in Ellie's stories, but that doesn't cheapen the story nor leave anything lacking. Instead it shows what is beyond the happily ever after that was written at the end of their original story and how it has only gotten better between this couple. I'd love to keep getting regular check-ins on this couple over the next several months/years of their story. I'd especially love to see their betrothal and wedding stories.
