The Art of Domination

Elizabeth Noble’s Pain and Pleasure series is the ongoing story of Ian and Taren, a married couple devoted to their Dom/sub relationship. More than just entertaining erotica, this series is turning out to be an intimate look into how each of these men process the nuances of their power exchange. I definitely recommend this one, so start with the first episode, Home Coming, and find out what you’re missing.

In The Art of Domination, the day of the couple’s highly anticipated vacation is finally here! Unfortunately, Ian hasn’t budgeted his time well and needs to spend one last day in the office. Failing to follow directions earns Ian some discipline. Of course, this isn’t really much of a hardship for either of these gents. *wink*

First thing in the morning Taren starts off by preparing Ian’s mind and body for the adventure to come. More than simply an expression of their love, the extra attention helps get both men into a good headspace, and builds the anticipation for what promises to be a very special time together.

Over the years, these two men have devised some creative and very intimate ways to explore BDSM. One aspect Ms. Noble focuses on in The Art of Domination is the give and take between the couple, and how fulfilling each other’s expectations is the cornerstone of their marriage.

At the conclusion of this episode, the car is packed and all the preparations are completed. With vague descriptions of what’s to come, Taren has whet Ian’s appetite and hyped up both of their anticipations. I know I’m looking forward to whatever’s in store for this couple as much as they are in the next installment of Pain and Pleasure.
