Eli spelled out his name -- bent fingers, thumb to palm for the E; an L with his thumb and pointer, and then a pinkie went up for the I. He crossed his arms over his chest for “love” and then spelled out E-d-d-i-e. “Eli loves Eddie,” he declared.

“Precious!”

Eli jumped, startled at Casey’s entrance and utterance.

“Casey loves Eli too.” Casey signed it awkwardly. He knew far less ASL than Eddie. He picked up his coffee again once done and flashed his sexy bad-boy smile.

“That for me?” Eli asked, nodding toward the cup.

“Figures,” Eli huffed.

“Still? You’re still going off on that?”

“How many times have I gone for coffee while you were in the shower, and how many coffees have I brought back? Two! Always two! You go while I’m in there and come back with one.”

“I’m sorry. I’m an inconsiderate ass with a hot one and a big dick. It’s a give and take. Tomorrow, I’ll bring you coffee. Peppermint, right? You love peppermint.”

Not in coffee, Eli thought. He was a purist when it came to coffee. The only thing he wanted in his coffee was coffee.

“Like the decorations?” Casey pointed around.

“You did this?”

“I did -- after you left on Friday. Our Valentine’s Day is going to be special this year.”

Suddenly the coffee thing and the stupid, eye-poking hearts were a bit less annoying. Eli gave Casey a sweet kiss. “Thank you.”

“Hey. How come you spell out Eddie’s name?” Casey asked.

“Huh?”

“Before ... Eddie. You never gave him a name sign?”

“There are different ways to sign a name,” Eli said. “Deaf people hardly ever spell it out.”

“I know,” Casey said. “That’s why I asked.” He helped himself to another kiss -- a behind-the-ear one. Though Casey’s expensive cologne lost the battle over the scents of coffee and cigarette smoke, Eli found both his look and his smell sexy as hell.

“Well, a name sign is usually the first letter plus some characteristic of the person. Maybe before the week is over, he and I will come up with a good one. You like that, Eddie?”

Eddie smiled.

“Hey, Monkey Butt.”

Eddie frowned at Casey.

“He don’t like me much.” Casey was casual -- that was the FUCU dress code -- in jeans and a red-and-black Freddy Krueger sweater.

“Bring him an orange tomorrow,” Eli said. “He’ll be your friend for life.”

“Hey.” Casey backed Eli into the pea-green wall, crotch bulge to belt buckle, since Eli was shorter. “So I’m throwing this get-together on Friday ... Your house available?” A grope accompanied the request.

“Not at work,” Eli said.

“It’s your last week. Let ’em fire ya. Plus, we’re under a heart. We at least gotta kiss.”

Eli looked up at Be Mine written in glittery fancy script. “That’s mistletoe, doofus.”

“Close enough.” Casey’s lips met Eli’s. They tasted like he smelled -- even a bit like the cologne. Their warm, wet tongues played a game of tag in and out of each other’s mouths, and their dicks played hide-and-seek, appearing as protruding points and then vanishing, depending on each man’s movement.

“Jerk me off,” Casey said into Eli’s mouth. He pulled down his zipper. Olly olly oxen free, the hidden dick came into view, poking out the fly of Casey’s boxers.
