The Summoning
Kohmi is so relatable to me. He's so stuck in his shell, he's in such emotional isolation, that he needs almost the whole novel to succeed in reaching out. When he finally cries about his parents' deaths, then he's able to let Morey in. It's very touching and a super grounded in reality romance that contrasts with the demons and black magic and holy magic and herbalism and stuff.
Zylon's story is also really intense and involving. Watching Zylon get help, get people rallied around him so he can defeat his horrible parents, bring so many feels.
This book captures the incredible experience of finding yourself and people like you at college. College can be such a place of hope.
Also, the erotic parts are very beautiful.
