A Blessing in Disguise

For the romantics at heart and those who love a good, sweet lovey story, this is for you. A whirlwind romance started by a blizzarded weekend in Saint Louis, that ends in a whole lot more.

Javier is ready for February to be over. Valentine’s Day sucks for him and he’s tired of seeing it. Not that he begrudges anyone happiness, but he’s tired of being the odd man out and being alone. Maybe after this trip to St. Louis, he can find someone. And this trip is off to a bang. A blizzard is coming in, his room has been given away due to the storm and he has no way for another one right now. But his outlook may be looking up. Hugo remembers Javier from the flight and loved looking at him. He makes a decision to offer Javier a spot in his presidential suite. It’s a king sized bed, plus couches, if need be. Javier accepts and Hugo does everything he can to start wooing this man. The few days trapped by the storm turns into a sex fest and a chance to really get to know each other. It may seem quick, but they seem to click well and both want to see where it goes. But Hugo may be pushing things too fast. When they get back to San Francisco, Javier wants to wait before they move even farther, and Hugo wants to move ahead now. They have to work through a few things before anything can move ahead and hopefully they will be on the same page.

These are some sweet boys. They’ve had a bit of a hard time, Hugo more than Javier, but they are good guys. Hugo has hard a hard time because of his past. It makes some of his decisions a bit much sometimes, but it all comes from a good place. It comes from his heart. He wants to be the best for someone, to care for and love them. Treat them like a prince and shower them with all their heart’s desire. For Javier, it’s a bit much sometimes. He wants to pay his way and not feel like a paid boy. But he also gets why Hugo is the way he is. His past wasn’t an easy one. Javier just loves spending time with him. And he’s getting to know him better. And likes what he sees.

It’s a sweet story. Full of love and hope. Happy reading!
